Scully

Scully is a static site generator for Angular projects. This guide walks you through deploying a Scully site to Edgio.

Sign up for Edgio

Deploying requires an account on Edgio. Sign up here for free.

Install the Edgio CLI

If you have not already done so, install the Edgio CLI.

With npm:

1npm i -g @layer0/cli

With yarn:

Bash
1yarn global add @layer0/cli

Create your Scully site

Clone this starter example and install dependencies:

1git clone https://github.com/layer0-docs/layer0-scully-example
2yarn install

Run the Scully app locally on Edgio

Test your app with the App Platform on your local machine by running the following command in your project’s root directory:

10 dev

Load the site http://127.0.0.1:3000

This will listen to any changes inside the folder src, with live reloads!

Run the Scully app in local production on the App Platform

Create a production build using:

10 build

Run App Platform on your local machine:

Bash
10 run --production

Load the site http://127.0.0.1:3000

Deploying

Deploy your app to the App Platform by running the following command in your project’s root directory:

10 deploy
